There Is Far More To Inequality Poem by Francis Duggan

There Is Far More To Inequality

There is far more to human inequality than race gender, color or creed
If you think about it so much indeed
Privilege of birth and money and material possessions a major cause of social rank
For this human World of inequality we have them for to thank

Those who firmly believe all people are equal though well intentioned sadly believe in a lie
Though we all become equal to those who have died before us on the day we does die
Inequality does not exist where deceased people lay
Since death makes all equal only true for to say

The praises of so called blue bloods the impressionable do sing
But of blue blood in people there is no such a thing
Of such a cliché in language are we of in need
Since red is the blood we are born with to bleed

Between people the judgmental masses does differentiate
And life's winners and losers are things we does create
But the one who to inequality does put an end
The reaper of lives is equality's friend

Though I like billions of others will fight for my last breath
I will become equal to every deceased celebrity on the day of my death
Since there is no inequality where dead people lay
The reaper of lives does make it in this way.
