No matter where I was born,
I believe in the one who created me,
At least there is hope for a tree:
If it is cut down, it will sprout again.
No matter where I went to School,
I believe in the Promises within Scriptures,
I will hold on to what I believe in,
For there is hope regardless of the challenges.
No matter where I come from,
In You I trust, O my God,
For No-one whose hope is in You,
Will ever be put to shame.
I will always have my hope in the right place,
Not in Myself, My job or My friends,
But in You alone, I will never be disappointed,
For you know my future.
