There Is No Willingness Poem by Jackson Isaltino

There Is No Willingness

Rating: 4.5

there is no willingness fed by despair
that drags desires throughout the day
by not dismantling faces
loud screams denounce the lack of continuity of
days massively written off
remaining laws and clashing tongues picture
verbs like painful drops of unperceived drownings
we all drown
stepping lower and lower
losing sight of the mud
which faithfully
keeps us stern and still
