I gave all my love to you
You pushed me out into the blue
But to let you go I refused
Love or lust - the two I confused
Either way you lit my fuse
My heart churns with this love unreturned
But if it wasn't for these lessons - I would have never learned
Through hard work all of my blessings were earned
So I can never say I regret all the times my heart yearned
To say I've never failed wouldn't be wise
Because though I've fallen I shall always rise
No amount of silver or gold would compare to the greatest prize
To appreciate even the tiniest grain of rice
I shall never give in and despise
Though I'm consumed with the darkness that's always here
My visions finally getting clear
And those dark voices I choose to no longer hear
For you I will never cry another tear
