There The Early Light Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

There The Early Light

There
There the Early Light that is
Also the First Light
That warms rocks, waters and things
From the night and from the stars
There's a Scepter not of Gold
Down the thin Path waits a Seer
Down the thin Path waits a Poet
And the mists and chill are frozen
Lady Day them in her hand holds
Dearly as orbs of universe
And the other planets turn
Under reign of Reference Frames
And accompanying near
Stood Wisdom with the Sphinx-like look.
