There you are
I see you standing-waiting
by our old meeting place.
The old oak tree
out in the middle of no where.
I see you there
slumped over a stump
no more than 20 feet away.
You called last night
saying you needed to see me today.
You know I'm here
standing still-waiting
for you to notice my presence.
Until I say something
you stay just gazing at me.
You look at me
wondering why I'm not his
why I'm with no one now.
I tell him I like someone
someone who see's me like no other.
He asks me
who's hoping its himself.
I tell him it's him
who gets up to give me
my first real kiss.
