There You Are Poem by Karen Diane Fisher

There You Are

There you are there to stay,
Together when we pray,

All that we went through,
It was you, who was true,

Always by my side through thick and thin,
Never did you try to escape around the bin,

There you are there to stay,
All throughout the day,

Even when I was sad,
You were the first one to make me glad,

Teaching me all I know,
Like how to throw snow,

There you are there to stay,
Together when we lay,

Though all they said,
To us it was dead,

We were a family of one,
We were the ones getting the job done,

There you are there to stay,
It is them who will one day pay.
