There's A Bonding

There's a bonding like none other
When you know that you know your God
The Holy Spirit as our personal Indweller
As the promise laid out in God's Word
Repent and believe and its settled!
The Cross as our refuge place
Jesus Christ died for all of my sin
And extended to me love and great grace

I know that I know that I know
I have faith in a triune God
The Father..the Son...and the Holy Spirit
Have blessed me through reading the Word
With prayer as a constant companion.
And praise following along now as well
I'm fortified in their companionship
And with my soul I know all is well

There are moments when God really reaches me
He has such pure healing balm
Not tainted with any worldliness
But with blood from the Saviour's palms
What a death that Lord Jesus died for me
To give me a life that I could now live
A new heart purposed in living for God
Loving and willing to forgive

When you touched down on planet earth
Little did we then but know
How much of a blessing You were wanting to give
To those who would seek you so
Praise God for the Lord Jesus Christ
Who can wash us as white as snow
Just ask me how I know my friend
For I know that I know that I know!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
