Thermodynamic Heart Poem by J Sheba Anandhi

Thermodynamic Heart

If the zeroth law of thermodynamics is applicable,
A friend of one's friend, one could easily befriend,
When it comes to befriending a friend of an enemy
It might as well be seen as committing blasphemy,
But the stories complying with the laws of universe
Bear witness that one's heart is one's own until
Influenced by another, the various thoughts distil
Undergoing changes akin to condensation,
All gaseous thoughts convert to the liquid state
Falling in drops, where all drops have the one icon
Of the person that has captivated one's heart,
The time passes on while you are at a standstill,
One image the eyes behold meditating, being still;

Well, this isn't even a canonical ensemble
But an obscure microcanonical ensemble,
In the former, at least energy could be transferred,
The latter contains all within as the flask is isolated,
Would this insulated heart ever find a messenger
To pass the exuberant energy to its chemic admirer!
