These Memories Poem by Susan Garfunkel

These Memories

The rain keeps pouring down
It takes me back to another day
A day where we shared our love
And I can almost hear you say
There's a sunny side of the street
That's where we use to meet
These Memories
Those clouds would fade away
A colorful rainbow would appear
We held on each other so tight
I recall you cuddling so near
Your memory will never die
Even though time goes by
These Memories

Thank goodness for our minds being made to store so many precious memories. No one can ever take those away from us! Nicely written poem.
