These Walls Of My Heart - Poem by Barbara Parker

Trapped and Cornered
Behind his memories
He has no idea
What the sound of his name
Does to me
His loving face
His innocent eyes
His bittersweet words
That are a bunch of lies
I'm seeing him
All around me
Where ever I go
He's all I'm seeing
Breaths are coming shorter
The days go on forever
I'll love you for always
Even though I know you'll never
