Plainly a time out of sequence just to set up what life would play next.

A very insightful poem like most your poems that I have read. An uncaring or superficial society that has no real spiritual basis. Making mean comments about people and things they no nothing about and don't care about. Just being human would sum it up.

Have you ever discovered this trait in anybody you know? Friend or family or acquaintance or even work associate? It's quite surprising even though it is quite common here in America.

This is, indeed, a reflective poem. There are mean, very mean people, i know. But it is a revelation to me that there is a social behavioural pattern of being 'stylishly mean'. Above all, the feeling of being clever and clean. Thanks Julia for this interesting poem.

It's a style of personality here in America, at least amongst people I know to " Be mean" although it is not like they necessarily DO terrible things. They just enjoy " being mean" as a personality thing. You are right having identified that my poems are about " social behavior." Thank you for reading and for reflecting upon what they are about. Your poems are very spiritual and transcendental and I really enjoy reading them.
