They Came Up With The Same Words. Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

They Came Up With The Same Words.

They came up with the same words.
The students.
Wind, rain, waters battering;
The freshness of the dews
The first lights of the Dawn
The awakening.
The night, stars, moon
Other celestial bodies.
Then
The Ocean and the Ganges waters.
And so they continued.
No student though of versifying on a plug.
Or pc or lap-top for that
