They Can Not Touch Me Anymore Poem by Amanda Larsen

They Can Not Touch Me Anymore

Rating: 1.5

You.
Another moment wasted
on another pointless try
to understand.

A breath.
And there is air.
Or am I not breathing?
One glimpse
of forever.
And don't wanna leave.

They can not touch me anymore.
As knifes and stones and hurting hate
is thrown
They pass me by

They can not touch me anymore
I can swim
Or am I being pulled up?
Am I being pulled out of the darkest water?

All the memories, all the choking thoughts

They can not touch me anymore...
