They Have Whispered Poem by Walter C. Edwards

They Have Whispered

They have whispered,
we meet again in this pub,
unplanned, unrehearsed,
but then again our eyes meet,
you sit next to me I buy you a drink,
we talk about our day,
you make me laugh,
and in return make you too,
sometimes I wish I could kiss you,
or other times you just kiss me,
we hug and embrace as once again,
we depart with out a trace,
of ever knowing each other at all.
