They Love You When You Gone Poem by Justice Kwani

They Love You When You Gone

They Love You When You're Gone
They Don't Appreciate Your Worth
When You're Still Alive
They Don't Even Call To Check
If You're Still Managing To Survive
They Start Putting You
On Their Profile Pictures
When You Time Of Death Arrives
This Cuts Me Deeper Than Knives
Suicide Has Taken So Many Lives
And Yet We Still Don't Check Up On People
We Care About The Most
Until They Die And Their Memories
Haunt Us Like A Ghost

They Don't Check
On How You're Doing So Far
When You're Still Alive
They'll Be On Their Phones Not Realizing
How Depressed You're
Or How Deep Your Heart Is Torn
They Love You When You're Gone
And Be like I was with him/her
the other day
He/sher Seemed Okay
They only miss your presence
When you pass Away
That's When They Start Having So much to
say
And yet when you were still alive
Your worth couldn't make them pray
And Your value
couldnt make them stay

In Your Lifetime
Only A Few People Will Check On You
While Some Turn Their Back On You

It's Sad That A Lot Of People
Claim That They Care For You
But In Your Time Of Darkness
Most Of Them Ain't Here For You
They Say
They'll Always Be In Your Corner
But when its time to fight your demons
They ain't there to cheer for you
They love you when you're gone
That when they start
to shed a tear for you
Writing "l'l Always Love You And Rest In
Peace" In Their Captions
But When You Were Still Alive
"I Love You" Was More In Their Words
More Than Their Actions

They Love You When You're Born
After Years Pass
They Love You When You're Gone
We Hide In Pride
And Yet We Cry To Heal
While Some Turn Their Back On You

It's Sad That A Lot Of People
Claim That They Care For You
But In Your Time Of Darkness
Most Of Them Ain't Here For You
They Say
They'll Always Be In Your Corner
But when its time to fight your demons
They aint there to cheer for you
They love you when you'te gone
That when they start
to shed a tear for you
Writing l'll Always Love You And Rest In
Peace" In Their Captions
But When You Were Still Alive
"I Love You" Was More In Their Words
More Than Their Actions
They'll wish you rest in peach
But never wished you'll live in peace
