There is too much hatred in this world
It seems love between people has vanished
Nations are threatening each other
Showing off their weapons of mass destruction

Poets are trying their best
To bring peace and love to this world
With their poems of love, peace, and truth
Of flowers, bees, butterflies and beauty
Of this earth and their hearts are open for all

Alas! Those spreading hatred are not reading
They are busy spilling blood of innocents
Wish they would drop guns and pick up books
