They Were Drunk Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

They Were Drunk

They were awfully drunk
And it was smelling bad,
But revealed not their identity,
Just had been talking in drunkenness,
In an inebriated state,
Whispering
And talking in a slow voice,
Two protagonists, personae could I guess,
The theatre artistes of life
Were they.
