Thief Of Souls Poem by james watkin

Thief Of Souls

Of all we held dear in life
He swept to disposses.
One footprint, feather-replaced.
Proof-catching where there's less!

A thief by implication.
Wrapt more noticably
In the spiritual night, that is
Our earthly day to see;

Melting back through, for framing
Eternity's window.
Empty room; empty heart! Godward
With him, a curse did go!
