Things Change - Poem by Emily Boschulte

I remember our last hug
our arms were so
I remember when
I visited you
your eyes were so

But what has happened
to my best friend
I thought our bond
would never end

Every time I
see your face
tears flood my
eyes as I begin
to pace

I'm having a mental debate
you see
whether to question you
or let it be

I know this may sound
but I truly thought
you were the one
why can't you realize that
I love you so much

Sounds like this best friend was not worth the bother. Though you may still care about them a lot, if they hurt you then it is often best to let them go. You will more than likely find the true one soon. When you do, hang on to them. Stay strong (Report) Reply
