I remember our last hug
our arms were so
tight
I remember when
I visited you
your eyes were so
bright

But what has happened
to my best friend
I thought our bond
would never end

Every time I
see your face
tears flood my
eyes as I begin
to pace

I'm having a mental debate
you see
whether to question you
or let it be

I know this may sound
stupid
but I truly thought
you were the one
why can't you realize that
I love you so much
