Things I Love About My Valentine Poem by Adam Jeffries

Things I Love About My Valentine

I love the way you smile at me - your eyes sparkling and full of life and mischievousness. I love the way your body feels next to mine, and the pillow talk we share. I love the heat your passion creates engulfing our two bodies into one burning volcanic fountain of pleasure. I love the way you bounce around the room…boundless energy, and quirky sweetness melded into beautiful perfection. I love the way you make me laugh. I love the way your heart fills with concern and good spirit when looking out for those you care about. I love that you care about everyone – and believe everyone deserves a chance to be happy. I love your optimism, your chivalry, your certainty, your clairvoyance, and your charms for which I cannot, and do not wish to, offer any resistance.

I love the way you throw me down, and the way you hold me up. I love that you share yourself with me – in moments, in mystery, in glimpses of you that reveal such sweet and loving tenderness. I love that you want to protect me, protect others and still hunger for every new challenge.

I love the way you walk with such purpose. Certain in your mission; oblivious to others – keep up or be left behind – you set the pace for a life well lived, and well loved.

I love the you that I feel so privileged to see – for even in the dark, I have come to feel your feelings – to think your thoughts – to wish your wishes and believe your beliefs. I love to look at you – stare at you – gaze at you – glance at you.

I love what our two hearts share.

I love our time together.

I love the opportunity to make you happy…and I love the happiness you give to me.

I love you, my valentine.
