Events throughout our history,
and things that move us deep.
Are the monumental disasters,
the ones that make us weep.
Like the abduction of children,
the crashing of a plane.
For these events make tears stream,
like rain on window panes.
They remind us of mortality,
and the precious price of life.
And the hope that we avoid encounters,
with these forms of strife.

Good write Heath, some things make us sad, and there is nothing we can do about it, 10 Lynda xx
