Things Unsaid Poem by Dazza Reason

I want to say “I love you”
I want you at least to know,
I need to say “I love you”
one time before I go.

A fear instilled within me,
It clenches round my lips,
It stops these words from getting out,
my heart, in two, it rips.

Allowed to watch, to see your face,
It tortures me inside,
But wont permit me speak this truth,
It wont let me confide.

So destined to live, with only me
knowing this way I feel.
Unable to tell you at least one time,
with this, our fate, I seal
