One Poem by Dazza Reason

How many men would die today,
if it meant it gave you paradise.
How many men would leave it all,
if it meant you’d always smile.

How many men would be at your side,
no matter what your life bestowed.
How many men would suffer pain,
so that you never would.

How many men would feel the cold,
to ensure your body’s warmth.
How many men would lay awake all night,
to allow your peaceful dreams.

How many men would promise this,
but never hold it true.
How many men would say such verse,
meaning nothing more than words.

But how many men would say all this,
and mean it as honest vows.
How many men truly covet your heart,
although you’ll never know.

The knowing comes in the commitment. And one who commits shows it! I like this poem Dazza ('yes, daz is a reason) . Also your name. Both are purposeful in statement.
