Think Pour Poem by David Floren

Think Pour

Language is water
To be poured
From any vessel,

The form of which
Thoughtfulness
Bends.

Water tends
To be poured
From shattered flasks,

The cracks of which
Thoughtfulness
Mends.

We're glassblowers.
By turns gasping, yearning,
For a functioning urn,

The pour of which
Thoughtfulness
Sends.

Words that would go
'Kerplunk! ' now embark
From a glowing home,

The hearth of which
Thoughtfulness
Tends.

Kerplunk means sploosh, but for solid objects falling on solid surfaces (not liquids) . The band Green Day created an album called Kerplunk. I believe a children's game called Kerplunk! was sold back in the 1980's in major stores.

A very thoughtful poem. What does Kerplunk mean though?
