Yearning's Learnings Poem by David Floren

Yearning's Learnings

Describes yearnings:
Wend.

Play-thing, swaddle, mother, scribble

Main thing: dawdle? Rather, dribble.

Books - expanse. Friend, learning.

Looks entrance. End: yearning!

Breasts – garden. Love’s a-sweat.

Bests harden. Hovers regret.

Sob, roam? Luminary prescribes:

Job, home, woman, child.

Describes
learning’s end.
