Thirst Renounced Poem by supratim ghosh

Thirst Renounced

Rating: 5.0

Witch - Behold the iceberg,
That dared to cut and pierce, the boastful bottoms of Titanic.
Bold, civilization`s ship.
It crushed and shattered,
the ever proud mast and drowned it in the deep.
king - I am the iceberg, centuries old.
humanity`s eyes, failed to measure my height,
I am the giant of the sea of life,
whose hilltop or headover the blue, but giant- like.
Body under the sea, the father of might.
I shall break and wreak those all civil ships,
that wears the jewelslike an Alexandrian queen.
I shall drown, renowned ships of those kings,
That breathed fire and burnt my mother Earth to ruin.
I shall flood and drown those fraudulent ships,
Of those beggars, that steal a king`s crown.
Fairy - Everybody calls hima lunatic or mad.
Mermaid - He lost his memory, but yet can remember he is innocence`s dad.
Unicorn -I know this nameless man.
He is the same king, who was once leftalone in the sea of tears.
Son of a witch and Angelina`s father,
he came to this world to inflame lies and fear.
Lilith- He loved and kissed those serpents of sin, that once gavethe forbidden fruit to Eve and Adam`s hands.
Midgard snake - Those serpents that bitten him and burnt his soul, were unable to kill him and fearless he stands.
Witch - He forgot his name and solitude hangs.
Misfortune`s coil, poisonous and spiral, captured and twisted his bud- like conscience,
Scars that screams in his milk white feet,
Sky-like breast bleed of pain`s venomous fangs.
He forgot hiscrown and sword and throne,
The Goddess of sin thrust him down,
In the bluegreen pit of grief and pangs.
Virgin- Memory that betrayed his footsteps forever.
Sin`s tearless face reflects in his mind`s mirror as a Goddess or a saver.
He shall come to this blue green grassland again as a leader,
Where crops that sprout and germinateand grow,
From the blood of Holy children,
of murderers and breast-feeders.
