After months of supression,
It came time to admit my defeat by the devil known as depression.
Everything inside me had been stolen like one's memory from a songle concussion.
The beating of my heart sounded like the loudest percussion.
As I entered the thirteenth floor,
The first sound I heard was the slam of the door.
After the nurse gave me the tour of the 13th floor,
Right then I knew they'd set me up to soar.
Finally, I could stop abusing my body and stop the aching down to my core.
For each day in the future, I knew I'd be grateful for the presence of these nurses.
They were the front line fighting to protect me from more of of the devil's curses.
While the Physician's only flew in to play the magician.
The people around me, I learned, all struggled with a similar condition.
After a while, it hit me when I realized I couldn't have landed in a better position.
Each person I met were uniquely different,
But the impact they had on me has been so significant.
I came in poor regarding my health,
Now I get to leave with a newfound wealth.
My world was filled with thoughts causing mental pollution;
However, thanks to the therapist's who helped me find a solution,
I can now start a new revolution.
