I try to stay strong
I stand tall
When my knees are so weak
smile when it is needed
when people are near
otherwise
I fall apart
I am constantly shaking
Growing weak from within
Unable to function
I hide my emotions within
They slowly eat at me
From the inside out
I fall but so far
I am always able to stand back up
when needed
I fear the time when I can no longer stand
When I can no longer pull off a fake smile
Or even a blank look
For I know that time will soon come
My strength is running thin
My life is slowly fading from within
I guess I will just have to wait and see what shall come of it
