I'll take your breath she said
As her crimson lips touched my head
I can't help to think there must be a better scheme for my day
And if not will every hour of my life proceed this way
Should I lead her on until we die
Or just let her go besides I'm due for a cry
She gave up her life to spend it with me
I should at least pretend to be happy
It was just a casual fling
In merely a second awoke
Hearing the church bells ring
I only wish I could choke
Or drown the stagnant water in which I bathe
If not my soul then her's I'd save
For my illness there is no cure
Losing the love for a love so pure
