This Is A Poem For All The Small Children



THIS IS A POEM FOR ALL THE SMALL CHILDREN

This is a poem for all the small children
Who have stood alone and looked out
At a world too big to be understood-
Who in their Confusion, and Wonder
Bore within themselves
The promise of all they would become.

So alone-
With everything still before them.
