This Is All I Know Poem by Jim Boone

This Is All I Know

A Power breaths life into a newborn
And a soul becomes a human being.

For a time there is a parent/child/sibling
Relationship that bonds or separates.

The birth place is where each path begins.
Then individuals go forth to discover
Purpose and excel or fail
To learn and grow, or get lost
In conflicting information and points-of-view.

Friendships are important, though fleeting.

Self satisfaction and solitude are the balm
That maintains all physical and mental health
To the good of all concerned.

A coupling is necessary for charting a new
Course successfully. Promote this outcome
In everything you think and do.

There is a lot I hear and see, but
This is all I know.
