This Is How I Kick My Own Arse Poem by Arun Maji

I love to be ignored,
love to be ridiculed,
love to be hated.
I want
people kick me hard on my arse.

That is what drives me.
That is what ignites fire within me.
That is what shouts at me-
"you piece of shit,
get onto your feet, and run! "

With one hand
I wipe my teary eyes,
and with another hand
I slap myself and tell myself-
let me slap their face back,
let them die in envy,
by raising myself to a height
they can not even dream of.

I am ageing
but I am growing young in spirit.
I am thankful to God
for giving me courage I have.
