This Is Terrible Poem by el ajenjo

This Is Terrible

Tiny little tear drops
in the corner of my eye.
come out to say hello
every time we say goodbye.
and meander down the path
between my nose and cheek.
Then sit down by my chin.
To take a final peek.

They poured out by the buckets
when your Father passed away.
How i wished I could have held you
but I'm not allowed to say.
That you're always in my thoughts.
Every morning and each night.
and I'll pray for your wellbeing as
I clutch my pillow tight.

They spring out of their home
if you're not feeling too well.
And keep rolling like a log
until you come out of the spell.
But I dare not let them out
when you see me feeling sad.
even if appearing strong
slowly drives me mad.

Now I know that you are happy
with the new love in your life.
There's no doubt in my mind
that someday you'll be his wife.
When you see me. It will be
with a big smile on my face.
But ignore the tiny tear drop.
That's always been its place.
