This Kind Of Crush Poem by Natasha Andeyi

This Kind Of Crush

Good morning sunshine, I'd say with a winky face.
The best of my words would follow afterwards but for some reason they will not be moved.
It's okay though, maybe they just don't know what to say.
My flexibility is too creative for this ever changing world. So instead of my words, I pick random acts even I would like. A nice date, just chilling with the best food and some drink to soothe the throat afterwards.
All this would just lead to a smile and a one word text.
Forgive my reciprocity nature, but the cliché ‘I'm only human' is way too real in my world.
It's not a crime to want to be loved the same way in return.
I'm feeding you with all this love but that doesn't mean my well never runs dry, it actually needs to be watered to exist.
But they don't seem to realize this do they?
And the worst part is that I'm criminalized if I dare complain!
Even worse, this is the constant kind of Crush the universe grants my heart.
Nkt! ! What a Life!
