This Month Poem by FIDEL DAVYNOVICH

This month!
That month!

Stretches clutch begging
Crawl with sore belly
And wail pleading save month
Wait to feed injured mouth
Politics accompany shattered
Into valley wombs feed month

Promises were pledge
By bankers banking wages
Romance anger and say:
Don't scream!
Don't publish voice!
Don't placard us!

Yet
Stock yield numbers
And I muck I am
Roam street with starched sweat
Like child opt from pap
Queue before collection of nut
Taxes fire squad month
That can't quenches hunger

This month!
That month!

Penniless dawn talk about
Month enriches masters
Even when muscles tear itself
Redouble hoping bread abundantly
Coach to say it's necessary
For demand builds pressure
For tomorrow shall laugh stomach happily

Still
This month!
That month!

I am poorer like frock writer
Tattered dawn talk about
Wretched every day I remember
The migration of millions
Into land promised good month
In time machine was changing stock
And remembrances roasted in my brain

Still
This month!
That month!
Live same as dawn talk about
In my mouth pocket screams

Going down the shadow of history
Monthly I burn sweat
To shape life crawling injured
Think my double time
Will peg drilled life
Poverty shadow month with emptiness

However,
Month is numbers for them
While I starved
Like imprisoned chain in Africa
For machine month is slavery
I see in the eyes of month

That month!
This month!

I am illness
Bankers pinch like English parliamentarians'
Offering penniless month says
Enough to by it this month
