This My Life Poem by Eric Adams

This My Life

Rating: 1.5

the world so big, dark, and lonely
my past so long and hard
my furture far away, my furture so dark
that light in the darkness to far to reach
that light i just can't touch
why o why does this light run away
why does this light run so far
i can berley stand my blood so thin
the sweat on my head crimson red
rolls down my face pulling every breath
my eyes slowly fading, out of breath, dieing
(a hand in the darkness aprears)
you pick me up, you wiped the blood away
you brought the light closer and closer
you took my darkness away
you took my pain away
you gave me a life, a life new and white,
clean and clear
my life anew, the weight lifted
you asked for nothing in return
why o why haven't i seen this
you never left yet your always there
you gave me a furture and in the end
ill never forget you, your my lord, my savior,
my everlasting peace.
amen.
