This question the thinkers have been asking
In all ages,
Why now I'm born in these dark ages?
The world is in such disarray and so torn,
Let them know that the world was always so.
Why not in the good golden age of yore
I was born?
Must they know that there never was,
And surely never there will be,
A golden age of love and peace.
Must I witness some day love and peace,
But only if I go inside and withdraw myself,
From fear, terror, and avarice,
That seems to be instilled in man's animal nature.
The righteous persons go inside,
To seek splendor of love, peace, and serenity.
It is only such persons who can lead the world,
From darkness to light;
To be honest,
They are hardly anywhere to be seen;
The times can change for better seems to me,
At present a distant dream.
