This Thought - Poem by Kerry Stacey
my mind races,
but i'm not thinking.
days go by,
but i'm not living.
the pain runs through my veins,
like a poisen.
it's taking over me,
i have nothing left.
these emotions are so overwhelming.
sadness; for loss,
happiness; for i know he's in a better place
hatred, love, hatred, love
i cannot keep my mind away.
away from these thoughts that are such pain.
i think this life of mine will someday change,
but this thought of mine will still remain.
