This time shall also pass away,
This time shall also pass away,
Like any miserable year,
This time shall also pass away.

We have gone through the depth of sorrow,
We have got muck from the muddy streets,
Like many haunted years,
This time shall also pass away.

Today we have food to eat,
Today we have air to breathe,
Don't know anything about tomorrow,
But today we know the worth of our life.

Today we have shelter for shade,
But still the home is far away,
We try to live with the strangers,
Like they are our relatives for the other's sake.

We strive to find peace in small,
We don't urge to live like a king,
We have learnt the way to breathe,
Till we are alive let's learn to live.

This time shall also pass away,
We will live for many years to come,
Like any miserable year,
This time shall also pass away.
