This Will Change With Me Poem by Catie Pipkin

This Will Change With Me

Rating: 4.5

When I look in the eyes of the innocent

The unwanted, the outcasts, attention deficit

I look beyond the labels and names given for what they portray

I listen to their cries of 'I wanna die' and 'Help me'

I don't just turn my head when someone is in need

I run to them and care for them cause I need somebody to care for me

This world is sick and livin' in today's society

The helpless remain helpless and if you need, you'll always need

I'm not a regular, this will change with Me
