This Woman Poem by Edwina Reizer

This Woman

Rating: 5.0

How many have loved the one I love
and never stood a chance
to tap into the depths of this woman
like I, in sweet romance?

How many have wanted the one I want
and never had her heart?
To feel for her just what I feel
has torn their dreams apart.

But my dream was a reverie
that became for me reality.
And all the others were left with sadness
for they would never be

touched by this woman in so many ways
that takes your breath away.
And so I say to them, ' seek another'
on every brand new day.

For this woman is mine, only mine
and I shall keep her so.
And all of you others that envy me
will never really know
this woman.
