A thorn covered in blood,
or was I just misunderstood?
I gave you my heart,
but you mislead from the start!

All my dreams brought you here,
what a shame it isn't very clear!
I thought I laid you to rest,
but your dreams I keep to my chest!

From my dreams I got you to me,
right where I wanted you to be!
But your poison kept us apart,
right from the very start!

What I'd give to share our sweat,
I thought that from when we first met!
just for one night together,
a moment that would last forever!

But in a dream, as in an onlooker,
wishing in my arms; a place I took her!
Yet again, from the start,
another thorn in my heart!
