Thorn In My Throat Poem by Prabir Gayen

Thorn In My Throat

Rating: 5.0

I have a thorn in My throat

I have a thorn in my throat,
Into the heart the thorn is piercing,
I bleed from deep inside.

The wound is real and
the thorn is invisible,
I am getting unknown misery.

Misery is now the destitute,
The pain poignant is overflowing,
Overwhelming my entire being.

I have a thorn in my soul,
Heart touching agony is bubbling,
The world seems a vague illusion.

Unknown is the way of life,
Desires dropped without cause,
Mind is becoming no-mind.

I have a thorn in my mind,
Innocent and ignorant mind,
The world is full of thorns.

Into the realm of heaven,
Into the heaven of freedom,
O my Master! lead me to be myself.

I have a thorn in my throat,
My heart and my inner core,
The pain oozing is my awareness.

The thorn is sweet and beautiful too,
Crying every moment becoming naught,
Let my lament become my way to sprout.
