Those Beautiful Blues Poem by Reynaldo Casison

Those Beautiful Blues

Rating: 5.0

Artists got the blues
Artists gotta do
What an Artists gotta do

The moon gotta do
What the moon's
Gotta do

The Sun's gotta shine
The moon's gotta glow

Artists got the blues
They have to hear the rain sing
For Solace
Even on a clear sunny day

Artists got the blues
They have to feel
Some kind of rhythm
To feel something

The suns gotta shine
The moons gotta glow

Artists got the blues
They gotta feel
Some kind of wonderful
Some kind of beautiful
To assuage the landscapes
Starry nights, dewy days

Artists got the blues
They got to paint the sky
They gotta dance in the waves
Even in reveries

The suns gotta shine
The moons gotta glow

Artists got the blues
The moon becomes
Like a woman
To feel it's love
To feel her love

Artists got the blues
They got to paint the sky
With their own colors
They gotta dance in the waves
To their own rhythms
They gotta sing their own
Unique tunes

Artists got the blues
The moon becomes
Like a woman
To feel it's love
To feel her love
Melodies, those beautiful blues,
Those beautiful blues,
And serenades
