Hungry cow, seeking food one day,
Spotted a polythene in her way.
It held scraps we tossed aside,
Food for her, but hard to abide.
Tried to tear it, but no luck,
Her hunger made her feel stuck.
With no choice left, she swallowed it down,
A bitter meal from our heedless town.
