All my life,
l've devoted myself.
ln search of a friend,
To stick with me 'til the end

l stopped and wonder,
The sparkle in your eyes,
l started to utter...
'l thought it was you'.

l have tried my luck,
To have a true friend.
To share the joy and laughter,
All the fun times together.

Then l sat to remember,
The smile on your face,
l began to whisper...
'l thought it was you'.

But the more l try,
To hold on to the bond,
There's just something in me,
That leaves all into memory.

l turned around to glance,
A hand reaching for me.
l stretched out from a distance...
And it was you, that l see.
