Mind lingers on into depth, with one thought into another.
Living in a dull state of something yet feeling almost nothing
With every breath, life seemed to be quieter
Where were you?

Like a firefly, you lit up my dark days
The colors that completed my paintings
The sun when the sky seemed to have its own chill
The moon to the restless nights

You smile with such happiness, it is felt by so many
You love with no conditions.
To hold on to spirit so pure, it brings such happy tears
Life is hard, but it can be endured

With you, there are smiles
