Thoughts Of Confusion Poem by Noah Ort

Thoughts Of Confusion

dieing breeding life to different things
changing from a spring of life to a fall of death
a blurr of colors in my retina
a quick shuffle of leaves past my cold frail body
the cracks in the sidewalk filled with memories
lost down under
only the worms feed on it now
the wind whipping me briskly in the face
like a friend that turned me away
lemonade stands and islands of kids fill my head
pulling at me like a cement block tied to my feet
going down to the bottom
fish food for the time being
it rots away until you coudnt pull it up with crane
so heavy yet, at the same time its almost gone
i want to reach out and touch her
i want to share gods love
but we are just strangers in the same place
no closer then a bird to a reptile
as she runs her hands through her hair
i cant help but wonder what is on her mind
her family? her friends? me? ........
