Thoughts Of The Mind Poem by Thomas Stearn

Thoughts Of The Mind

A thought fluttering in the mind
How so very kind,
Puzzles of fear and courage,
Oh what a beautiful mind.

This complex machine of cogs and dials,
Clustered, yet so fragile and pure
Lay admiration for the beautiful mind
Of she who is so kind.

A thought fluttering in the mind
How so very kind,
That thoughtful soul who made me
So peaceful, if only I could see.

When in doubt of courage and will,
Allow the mind to be so still
For it only takes a breath,
Oh what a beautiful mind.

A thought fluttering in the mind
How so very kind,
With such deep intricacy, one ponders,
I am the wanderer in your mind.
